There is really no such thing as a white or black Latino which is why Hispanic as a race is quite ridiuulocs to begin with. Even Hispanic countries with darker skin tones (DR, Haiti, etc) still are mixed with Caucasian (Spain, Italy, Portugal, UK) & Natives (Local Tribes, Seminole, etc). This is why some Hispanics from for example, Cuba or the DR can be from the same countries or families even and one cousin looks like Barry Bonds while the other looks like Jason Giambi haha. Crazy things happen when you put everyone into a barrel & mix them altogether. If you don’t believe me, just check out a HS Yearbook from Brazil or Cuba. The BBC actually did a documentary on this 2 or so years ago, really good check it out. My point is though, that this is an oversimplification, and even though these guys are dark Hispanics, they are still Hispanics. The average African-American is 20-30% European (if you don’t believe me look at the US Men’s basketball team play Nigera lol) using Mitocondrial DNA so it’s pretty unfair to label anyone in the new-world anything but a mix . I like it better that way anyway, wouldn’t it be nice if we all turned into some light brown mix so we could focus on hating something else
